It improves your sex life as well. Having active muscles will help with the production of hormones produced by your endocrine glands which lead to better sexual performance. You will be fit and be more fit to do everything else you want to do.

  2. I played sports when I was a kid and during me teenager and collage years. But after I entered the workforce and got my family, it seems as if I don’t have time. Exercise is so pivotal.  I used to exercise a lot back in college but now I have been too caught up with work.  Your post is inspiring to me in part because of your last reason.  I need a stress reliever or something so that I can channel energy into something else.  Exercise will be a great way for me to do that because of the dopamine that is released at the end of the workout.  And you are also right about the energy.  I always sleep better after I have worked out hard.  This always gives me more energy to do stuff.

  9. Over the years my exercise regimen has been sporadic at best. I need to reduce my waist by at least 6 inches. And my weight by about 20 lbs. I am in my 70’s that poses challenges. 

    After reading your article it made a lot of sense to exercise. Do you have any exercise suggestions for older folks? I am undergoing physical therapy for back arthritis issues. However, that is not going to help me achieve the objectives I stated above.
